Passport Photo is built so your photos stay yours.
Passport Photo processes photos entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Vision and Core Image frameworks: finding your face, checking it against the document rules you picked, replacing the background, and building the finished photo and print sheet. None of this leaves your device. The app has no server, and we cannot see, receive, or store your photos.
Nothing. We do not operate any servers that this app talks to, and the app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no tracking code. We do not know who uses this app, how often, or what photos they take.
The app stores a couple of small preferences (your last-picked document type, and a local count of successful exports) in standard iOS local storage on your device only. This never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
The app asks for camera access to take your photo, and Photos access to save the finished photo and print sheet. Both stay on your device — the camera permission is used only to capture the photo you are taking right now, and the Photos permission is add-only (saving your result), not used to read your existing photo library.
The one-time unlock ($4.99) is processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles your payment method and billing; we do not receive or store your card details, and we do not receive your name, email, or billing address from a purchase. This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
