Docket is built so your documents stay on your phone.
Docket captures or imports document images, recognizes text on-device using Apple's Vision framework, and builds a searchable PDF, all on your iPhone. Docket Pro's AI naming, summaries and field extraction run on-device using Apple's Foundation Models, when available on your iPhone. None of this — scanned images, recognized text, or AI output — is sent to a server. The app has no server, and we cannot see, receive, or store your documents.
Nothing. We do not operate any servers that this app talks to, and the app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no tracking code. We do not know who uses this app, how often, or what documents anyone scans.
Your documents, pages and signatures are stored locally on your iPhone and are not synced to iCloud or any other service by this app. If you choose to export, share, print, or save a document, that action goes wherever you choose (Files, Mail, AirDrop, Photos, a printer) — that is your choice at the moment of sharing, not something the app collects or sends on its own.
The app asks for camera access to scan documents, and Photos access to import an existing photo as a document or to save an exported PDF. Both stay scoped to what you explicitly pick or save — the app does not enumerate or scan your photo library beyond that.
Docket Pro's AI naming, summary and field extraction need an iPhone with Apple Intelligence available and turned on. When available, this processing happens on-device via Apple's Foundation Models framework; we do not receive your document's text or the AI output. Without Apple Intelligence, new documents still get an automatic date-based name, and every other feature works the same either way.
Docket Pro ($9.99, one-time purchase) is processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles your payment method and billing; we do not receive or store your card details, and we do not receive your name, email, or billing address from a purchase. This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
